Master Cylinders

(Brand New or Re-sleeve) A faulty master cylinder usually leaks out of the rear piston or leaks internally. When leaking out of the back, you should be able to detect fluid at the master cylinder mounting point, which is normally the vacuum booster. When the leak is internal, the brake pedal will slowly move to the floor. Inoperative valves in the master cylinder are also a reason for service. Martin's Clutch and Brake can supply brand new Master Cylinders or re-sleeve/rebuild your old one.

Calipers

(New or Reconditioned) When a caliper piston is frozen, leaking or has extremely high kilometres, it must be overhauled. In these situations you can either replace the calipers with a new set or recondition the old set. Martin's Clutch and Brake can help you out in both situations. Caliper kits and pistons are also available from Martin's Clutch and Brake for people who are approved to recondition and overhaul the brake caliper system.

Flexible Brake Hoses

Brake hoses can become damaged or deteriorated after prolonged service. When replacing a brake hose, only use as approved brake hose for the vehicle that it was intended for. Martin's Clutch and Brake carry flexible brake hoses for all make and model vehicles.

Wheel Cylinders

(New or Re-Sleeved) The wheel cylinder should be overhauled or replaced if it shows any signs of leakage or sticking. In fact, many shops replace the wheel cylinders anytime the linings are replaced. Martin's carry a huge stock of new wheel cylinders. If you are finding it hard to purchase new stock wheel cylinders, Martin's Clutch and Brake can have your old ones re-sleeved.
